Hello Hova & Team!

My name is Kamari, and I am a freelance event and portrait photographer based in Atlanta, GA.

To be transparent, I have a full-time job as a Paraprofessional and will soon start coaching basketball, as everyone needs to make ends meet. However, this is definitely not the endgame for me. Over the past four years, I have been looking for the right creative team to work with and join because this is my passion. When I get the opportunity to make photography and creating my full-time job, that is what I will do with no second thought.

I went to college and studied fine art photography, and I think it shows in my photos and curation. My portrait style is documentary at times and most of my images can read as a story, whereas my event photos are sparatic and capture a moment while maintainINg the energy of the scene.

As a freelance photographer, most of the events I go to are on my own accord to get more images added into my portfolio. I’ve been to multiple fashion shows, Pink Flamingo events that took place in Atlanta, been invited to underground music events, and I’ve done some promotional product photography for @LucidFC.

I don’t have much else to say about my work. I think it speaks for itself! let’s make sh*t shake. Overly!
